Is there any way to give a commoner a flag that determines the dynasty they get if they are ennobled - I love the Bronn COA he has after the Blackwater but I prefer starting before the Blackwater which means if he gets ennobled he just gets some random COA - it would be great if he could get a flag that means if he gets ennobled he gets his Blackwater dynasty and COA

I agree. I agree. I think though, you could probably edit the savefile, to change his "bloodline" or coat of arms, to the blackwater.

I have sometimes done that but it just feels so immersion breaking

It wouldn't really make any sense for him to call himself Blackwater and have that coat of arms if he is knighted through some other means and the Battle of Blackwater never happens.

On the one hand yes, especially for the arms themselves, but isn't he a Kingslander by birth (I think he said he was when he was telling Tyrion he would dispose of someone's body in a pot shop in Flea Bottom?), so being called Blackwater would at least make sense - its a major geographic feature of the Crownlands so a sensible thing for an upjumped sellsword to take a surname from. As for the COA you're right, it just seems a shame to waste such a nice COA for a rather boring autogen one
