It always seems that after a few years I look over at Norvos which is either in the grip of a massive civil war or has disintegrated into bordergore with two Norvoses. I understand that the devs want to mirror the way that Norvos is supposedly ruled by its magisters but is in practice run by the bearded priests, but it just seems that the Lord of Norvos doesn't like the bearded priests being not under his control and goes to war with them over it, the two ways I can see to solve this is either to make it like Volantis with a "City of Norvos" held by the magister and the "Temple of the Bearder Priests" as the real capital and as separate provinces, the simpler option would be to make it so Bearded Priests has a crazy opinion bonus for Norvoshi/Gods of Norvos (something like +100) so that the AI never decides to make war on them - they are an ascetic theocracy where the priests speak for the Gods after all so its not too silly

Norvos has some new mechanics in the next update, which will perhaps make it more stable!

Norvos has some new mechanics in the next update, which will perhaps make it more stable! Exciting - if it makes Norvos more stable I might try a Norvos playthrough -are they active mechanics we can interact with or are they just background AI changes?
