So I was thinking a lot about the new Crusade mechanic and it's potential for usage in the AGoT world. Honestly this mechanic has been one of the most exciting features IMO of the expansion, so I desperately wanted to come up with a way to integrate into the mod. The best plausible way I could come up with is specifically for the Valyrian Freehold. Essentially it would work much like it currently does with the currented elected ruler being able to call a "crusade" (rename it to like grand invasion, I believe a similar mechanic is already in game for the freehold but this is far superior) and would be funded and supported by the various freehold lords. Titles would then be doled out to the people they backed just like the new crusade mechanic based on their contribution. I think this would give SO much awesome experiences playing in the Freehold.
On a side note I do wish there were more Valyrian freehold specific flavor events, but that's more of a desire rather than a suggestion.

I think it would work better for the 'Expand realm by conquest' ambition. You declare a target, and the lords who supported you all join it, name a third son or a cousin as a beneficiary and then it works the same as a regular Megawar.

Can you use the crusade funding/support mechanics (Holy Fury) for the Night's Watch? Maybe the call goes out from the Lord Commander (instead of the pope) and lords of the realm can pledge men and funds to the Night's Watch for when the free folk and the white walkers come invading or NW incursions into the lands of the free folk.
