Hello! First of all great mod, I have been playing this a lot, maybe to much
I love the mod, but I would suggest doing some small changes to the congenital traits.
As it stands now the inheritance chance is to low to be "realistic" imo.
In the later bookmarks of the game there are lots of characters with strong, tall, even strong\tall quick\fair combos. As you play on, this becomes almost none existing.
I made a submod that alters this of all the congenitals in game, and I find this giving a better game experience overall.
With the current setup there are just to few characters with congenital traits late game.
Therefore I suggest buffing the spawning and inheritence chance, aswell as adjusting some of them. I will explain what and why in more detail below with a couple of examples.
In detail:
All congenital traits should get a higher value of inheritance and birth chance:
Main mod My suggestion (at least!)
Strong = { #61
birth = 100 birth = 120
inherit_chance = 15 inherit_chance = 25

I believe every congenital trait should be changed according to this "logic" (this is just two examples, I can show all if wanted...)
tall = { #Renamed to GIant.
inherit_chance = 25 Tall already has a 25% chance, but I would still buff this to 35%, because this is a "strong" congenital trait that easily gets inherited
birth=100 birth = 140. There are just a lot (more) tall people
martial = 2 Adding +1 to diplomacy, because a tall character has a more imposing look
intrigue = -1 #easily recognisable.

The tall trait has a intrigue = -1 beacause it is "easily recognisable". I agree with this reasoning.
But giving a intrigue -1 with this reasoning should then also trigger for other easily recognisable traits, because it follows the same logic, these are
Dwarf
clubfooted
hunchback
fair
ugly
It should be more difficult to "fly under the radar" if you have one of these traits. and therefore a -1 intrigue (at least), would be better
The fair trait should have +2 diplomacy, or +1 (as it has now) and a +5 general opinion. Because being fair affects people/characters more than currently ingame. It is a sociological fact that
fair people are more "likable" by the general public. As in people want to like them more, compared to the rest
The trait one-eyed, currently has a -40 to combat rating i suggest nerfing this to atleast -20, because -40 is way to high. the loss of an eye should not affect your combat potential twice the level as being weak imo.
