So I thinking that the small council positions for the Iron Throne, Should have Titular titles associated with each position. These titles would be revocable and non-hereditary, and only the holder of the title would be eligible for the position. They should be king-tier,so as to prevent holders from being traded back to their de jure liege. For the Hand of the King, I suggest that be a landed title with one of the castles being turned into the Tower of the Hand. The Hand of the King Title should become the prominent title and the capital should change to the Tower. This title should be free for revocation, non-hereditary, and should have an option for the holder to abdicate the office. Hope that makes sense, and thanks for reading and considering.
