I know there's no evidence for this in the books, but since Essosi bastards cannot inherit titles it would make sense that they can't inherit family names either. I think the following names could be used for bastards from the Free Cities and Valyria:-

Braavos: Moon/Purple/Titan
Pentos: Prince (couldn't think of anything else for Pentos tbh!)
Myr: Glass
Tyrosh: Dye/Bright
Lys: Tear/Sweet
Volantis: Black
Lorath: Maze
Norvos: Bell/Axe
Qohor: Wood/Goat
Valyria: Flame/Fyre
Andalos: Star

Tbf I don't think Valyria would give bastard surnames unless the parent were from Old Valyrian nobility of the old blood as the rest of Valyria is basically treated as commoners and probably wouldn't have the same societal expectations which give bastard surnames
