The new Artifact system while good for things such as Valyrian steel and Flagships and Crown, makes Dragons and hatching Dragon eggs waaaaaayyyyyyyy more confusing. I think, Dragon eggs should be reinstalled as a trait rather than artifacts.

no, its much better than was. You can collect many eggs  Since im here, saw today some characters still somehow get dragon egg trait. |

In what way is it confusing? The artifacts work pretty much in the same way as the old traits... I've had two Targayren kings now, both of who had dragon eggs but never got an option to hatch them. I have various other family members with Dragons but i can't hatch the eggs. |

I have various other family members with Dragons but i can't hatch the eggs. That's a bug not a reason to change to the old system where you can only have one egg. |
