Don´t know if it´s canon but i saw some succesions from for example the tagaryens were rly i like you more than your sibling so you are my heir. so would it be possible to add the ability for high valyrian culture to choose their main heir? Like Bön and Confucians in Vanilla

Can you give examples of Targaryens doing that excluding the dance of dragons?

Can you give examples of Targaryens doing that excluding the dance of dragons? Aegon the Unworthy's granting of Blackfyre was arguably just this, but the fact that it wasn't quite official probably doesn't clear your bar.

Ehhh. I would say it qualifies, along with Maegor succeeding Aerys, but it should definitely trigger a civil war. I haven't played a Bonn character before, but I'm assuming it's a peaceful succession in vanilla. There are also, of course, also Grand Councils present in game as well as canon which led to things like Viserys I succeeding the Old King instead of Rhaenys, and Aegon V succeeding over his brother and cousins.

Honestly, Maegor's succession was relatively... well, let's just say his nephew was a moron.
>be Prince of the Iron Throne >your martially-accomplished and unscrupulous uncle took the throne >he has a bigger dragon and army than you >hasn't harmed you thus far >rebel to take the Throne
Yeah, that's gonna work out real well, Aegon.
