I tried reinstalling the mod but the issues are persistent for me. I can't hire sellswords in westeros as targaryens since they arrive as dead andals (e.g; kingslander if capital is in the red keep, rivermen if in harrenhal)... But every other courtier is fine and it happens regardless if i had high valyrian culling on, also my diplomacy range option also seems to not work since rulers in westeros could arrange marriages with far east cultures like the yi tish and jogos nhai with the option on.
Anyone else familiar with them?

The diplomatic range thing is common, the game ignores nomads in both distance and religion checks.
With sellswords, do you mean the mercenary companies or the Hire decision? If the latter, it will spawn a new character in your court but it's possible that the engine will cull him before he arrives. Not related to the mod's Valyrian cul setting, this is simply an engine thing.
Known issue, hopefully the next version will solve it. The new CK2 patch finally gave some ways to control this culling.

Nope, for the diplomacy range thing it occurs regardless of their government type whether feudal or nomad. I see brindlemen married to a velaryon and some hightowers marrying yitish nobles. I remember not being able to interact with quartheens and astaphori when i played 1.4.1 with diplo range on, but now i could interact with them in every new game regardless of the rules i set. The sellsword courtiers only die in westeros but if i'm say; a targ on the stepstones or essos i could hire them fine so i guess the engine is simply bugged.
