Greetings,
I have started a game as Orys I Baratheon. As is typical of CK2, I got murdered after ten years. However, I managed to have a daughter and two sons, the elder of which became new Lord Paramount. So far, it looked like a regular game.
And here is where things got weird.
Even though my father was his friend and I'm his nephew, king Aegon I the Conqueror wants to revoke the Stormlands from me. I decline, so he declares war on me. He obviously wins, but then... he doesn't revoke the title. Instead, he keeps me imprisoned and goes into hiding for seven years. For all this time, I'm kept in house arrest (thank you, Rhaenys Targaryen, the regent) and the King won't accept ransom (even though it should probably be the Regent who decides such things when the king is absent, but whatever). However, things get even more weird when the king returns. He decides to release me from prison, but then immediately attempts to revoke my title once again.
Is it supposed to happen? I understand that he has a claim, but I think there should be some AI factors that prevent such stupid wars. He gains nothing from revoking the Stormlands from me - in fact, he loses a lot, because I'm loyal. The fact that he can just revoke my title as he pleases just because I'm his family (I believe that's how it's supposed to work) should also cause some backlash. Well, the Lannisters decided to fight for my freedom, but that's obviously not what I mean.
I'm looking forward to some clarification.
Sincerely, Vulgard.

The mind of the dragon is not one that is easily penetrated.

The AI in this regard is hardcoded, sometimes it will irrationally revoke titles regardless of opinion or other factors.
