Hey guys, Every time I start a game as Aegon the Conqueror, I always go for the Stepstones as well when I finished conquering Westeros (mainly to get rid of those annoying pirates). It is then considered another Kingdom under the Iron Throne. Now, every time a bastard is born in the Stepstones, it keeps the House name of its parent. No 'Snow', 'Rivers' or 'Storm' gets added. I'm not an expert in modding and I've already tried to change some event files and such to create new bastard nicknames that get assigned automatically (like the traditional ones) but without much success. Is there anyone with experience in this or with the knowledge/skills that can help me do this? I would be forever in your debt For the people who (like me) don't know much about modding, you can help too! I still have to find a good sounding nickname for Stepstones bastards. In my opinion it should be similar to the original ones, with clear links to the area they were born in or where their parents are from (Snow for the North, Flowers for the Reach...) I was thinking something like 'Skull' or 'Salt', but maybe you guys have some better suggestions. Thanks in advance

Blood (for Bloodstone), Pebble (since stone is taken by the vale), Rock, Splint (broken arm of Dorne), and Current (all currents go through the stepstones). just some I came up with off the top of my head

Oh I like that idea of Current (personally). Pebble has too much reminders of the Vale (Sisters).

I think this is a great idea, but only if ruled over by Westerosi since it is a Westeros concept and likely developed after the Andal invasion (otherwise it would not follow the seven+two kingdoms split in its current form).
Current gets my vote too, although Salt would also be very fitting.
I would also like to see it for the Free Cities, actually, since it's not unlikely a strong king would go for that area as well. No idea about nicknames though and if we'd need one nickname or nine (one per free city).

Love this idea
I think I could pull it off but right now I don't have the time. Maybe if someone else hasn't I'll try when school's out
my top picks would be Skull, Salt and Tide (my own suggestion)
