So now that we have in Jade Dragon, a multi year, sometimes decade long event of creating a book of high quality, is it possible to use that formula to create a new holding of a higher basevalue instead of just making one then having to manually upgrade each level? Of course this would take a lot of gold and quite a bit of time create, but I think it would add interesting aspect of your personal powerbase by using resources to essentially make your own version of Harrenhal. Certain traits like architect, ambitious, cruel, etc. can increase said time through events and spending gold to increase the overall quality like the scholar trait, and spending gold to increase book quality. Traits like slothful, content, kind, and charitable would increase the time spent building the holding. To prevent having to create new history slots for a new holding, the decision to make a new castle/city can only be done by someone of a duke tier or higher, cost a base amount of gold, and having an available holding slot to be used.
Some further thought has provided new imput into this idea. Combat traits working into possible buildings being included in the final construction. For example in castles, having the inspiring leader combat trait would result in the training grounds buildings being included in the finished product, defensive traits like unyielding and leading from the centre as well as siege leader would provide the fort level buildings, cavalry leader makes stables, heavy infantry leader for barracks, and light infantry leader for militia training grounds. What do you guys think of this?
