So, where to begin. Out of all the scenarios available, I always seem to get the most action out of After the Spring. I started out as Lord Paramount Axel Baratheon under the reign of King Aerys I. First and foremost, after the brutal Great Spring Sickness, the Targaryens aren't in very good shape. King Aerys has no children and his heir, Prince Rhaegel, is mad, meek and weak. Although Prince Rhaegel has children to Lady Alys Arryn, the near future doesn't turn out well for the red dragons. Over in Summerhall, Prince Maekar reigns, but his heir is a drunkard and a coward.

I began the scenario by wedding my son and heir, Lyonel the Laughing Storm, to Shiera Seastar. I did this as a way of forming a relationship with House Targaryen. I knew what problems this could cause because of Shiera's lover Bloodraven and her lustful trait, but I took the gamble anyway. Luckily, they had a daughter, Lady Perra. Hopefully, she doesn't turn out to be a bastard in disguise.

It didn't take long for another Blackfyre to attempt to take the Iron Throne - and this time they succeeded.

Before the Blackfyres arrived in Westeros, King Aerys had defeated Dagon Greyjoy and revoked his title of Lord Paramount. When Daemon Blackfyre took the Iron Throne, he named Aegor Bittersteel the new Lord Paramount, who now resides in Orkmont.

Here's a recent history of the Iron Throne whilst Daemon Blackfyre smashed his way through Westeros. King Aerys was assassinated, King Rhaegel was killed in battle and King Aelor was beheaded by Daemon. The only hope of House Targaryen’s comeback lies with Prince Maekar of Summerhall.
