The traits are pretty tame but also pretty rare. I think there should be an event that may give you these traits if you are using the Hunter Way of Life Focus for Falconer, and/or Carousing, and Poet might occur if you using Scholarship or Theology, or even Seduction or Rulership.
Falconer might be a bit more likely if you are young or a woman and have a friend or higher than average diplomacy, or might trigger with carousing if you already have the Hunter lifestyle trait or you have higher than average martial.
Poet might trigger for Seduction if you have higher than average learning. Might have to try your hand at quoting poetry a few times before it sticks, though. For scholarship it would just depend on what texts you're reading/writing. Or perhaps if you have the Rulership focus an event can fire where you have the option to go to a tavern and pretend to be a bard or something. If it goes over well you might discover you have a knack for writing music/poems. Might get tomatoes thrown at you too (chance to become shy and/or humble and/or get the poetry trait). Of-course you might get angry and offended if the tavern goers don't like you and retaliate (chance for wroth/proud). If you are zealous while studying theology you might feel inspired by the religion and thus you have a passion for writing poems about it.

I noticed too. In vanilla almost every ruler will get the Poet/Falconer event but it never fires in the mod.
I made my own personal rule to combat this. If I take the carousing focus and after my 3rd party have the option to become a socializer/hedonist I decline them both and use the console to add Poet/Falconer. For extra fun I flip a coin to see which one to add.
