Essentially Rhaegar vs Aerys II. A gentler response to misrule, perhaps with significant added chance of success if the leader and/or designated regent is already the intended next ruler — the heir, who unlike the Hand has some rights in his own rights instead of just being a servant of the throne along with everybody else. Perhaps less contentious than the usual faction, that is less chance of actual warfare growing out of the ultimatum, but still some. The rationale/unique benefit would be to enable regime change (diff. personality for the AI) without affecting inheritance, killing the bad king etc.
The heir-regent could have some unique perks/aids normal regents don't have and also less Short Reign when he eventually succeeds, but of course be the primary suspect if the old (mad) king does actually die, possibly preventing the succession and/or prompting a different close relative (claimant) to act.
