You'll need to copy the GFX files over yourself, but I can share the text files: co-bf.zip (109.92 KB)

Before I'm doing it completly wrong; I have to copy the gfx stuff from the Better Faces mod over to Congenital overhaul and then put the files you sent me also inside the congenital overhaul mod right? Which mods do I activate in the launcher then?

Yeah, copy over the GFX files I listed from Tubbs' mod to CO, overwrite CO's files with the ones from the download above, and then in the launcher enable CO, Strong Seed, and the Strong Seed compatibility patch. CO will be CO + Tubbs', Strong Seed is its own thing, and the SS compatibility patch will make it use Tubbs' faces. You should NOT enable Tubbs' if you merged it.

But there's a problem with the Dothraki portraits. The hair and the beards are all floating around Oops, my bad. That means you copied over the Dothraki male hair gfx files from Tubbs, I forgot to mention I don't use those either (for the same reason as the beards -- CO has more variants). Replace dothraki_male_hair_1.dds / 2.dds / 3.dds and dothraki_male_hair_behind_1.dds / 2.dds / 3.dds with the copies from the original CO. Ditto for beards.

Working just fine with all 3 mods, now the only issue is I need to get some more fitting DNA/properties for a few characters. Robb and Jon for sure.

I can't create a character using the dynastic ethnicities. They are simply not available (but work well in game). Does anyone have the same problem?

I can't create a character using the dynastic ethnicities. They are simply not available (but work well in game). Does anyone have the same problem? They're not full cultures, no name lists etc. They're only intended to be graphical cultures that are set by event. If you want to use a custom dynasty with the same ethnic look, you have to add your dynasty ID to the proper trigger in \common\scripted_triggers\ss_scripted_triggers.txt For example if you want the Karstark dynasty (#89) to also get the Stark (#59) traits, you will go to you_are_stark in that file and change it to this: you_are_stark = { OR = { dynasty = 59 dynasty = 89 character = 9267059 } NOR = { character = 2059 character = 6059 character = 8059 character = 9059 character = 99992095 } NOT = {has_global_flag = dmevent} }

Before 1.6 was released, I modified this mod so as to create an Arryn ethnicity (using Lannister children's portraits haha), and while searching why I could not create a character belonging to a dynastic ethnicity, I noticed that some files I had to modify from the previous version had been heavily shortened, or even deleted. I guess that a part of what was shortned/deleted was used to create a custom char. Too bad. I'm just gonna use "gfx_culture" at the start of a game then.

Just marry and pray to God of Random Ye, i little optimized code in 1.6, but nothing was deleted(written in 1st page my second post) Deleted houses from ruler designer in 1.6.1(last post) to be more honestly (at least in iron mod =p) Hey I sent a PM (or not, I'm new to this site and have no idea what I did), and I have a few suggestions for this mod. I really like the immersion it adds to have both characters retain house traits and for children to have the hair and eye color of their dynasty rather than the default child icon. But just in case I didn't message you in the right place before I wanted to suggest a few new houses to add; House Bolton: Black of hair and ice colored eyes (the eye color is mentioned hevily in the books, and the Boltons are important in canon and in game) House Reed: Brown of hair and pale green of eye (Jojen and Meera's eye color is noted several times in the books, and is quite unique, on top of the Reeds being a well established house) House Dondarrion: Red-gold of hair and any eye color (the red-gold hair trait seems to be attached to this house) House Yronwood: Blonde of hair and blue of eye (both Archibald and Cletus have these traits, and even though there already is a few blonde hair blue eye houses, House Yronwood is the biggest vassal of the Martells and they were once kings) House Redwyne: Red of hair and any eye color (this house also used to be kings and is very rich and influential) House Royce: Grey of eye and bronze of hair (the eye color is canon, but as hair color isn't mentioned I think bronze would fit due to how lords of that house sometimes have bronze in their names like Bronze Yohn) House Connington: Bright red of hair and pale blue of eye (these features are prominent) House Blackwood: Black hair and dark brown eyes (Tytos and Hoster Blackwood didn't have their eye and hair colors stated in the books so I went off of Betha Blackwood) House Bracken: Brown hair and brown eyes (Blackwoods and Brackens are important so I think they should have stable traits) House Marbrand: copper hair and any eye color(Jaime's friend Addam Marbrand was mentioned to have copper hair and Marbrand is an important Westerland House) Alternative house Baratheon: Orys Baratheon is black of hair and black of eye so if he doesn't marry into house Durrandon in Aegon's Conquest he should get his out greathouse.gfx House Baelish: Black hair and pale green eyes (since Baelish is a lord paramount house in the AFFC bookmark) Thanks for reading all that if you did, and I would be grateful if you added those houses (mostly Bolton) as I think it balances house traits more (as most of those are great houses except Reyne so I thought it would be nice to even it out). Also I think you should slightly alter the percentages for inheritence and shift it towards making the dynasty even more important towards inheritence (for example, if a Tully lord married a Baratheon girl, there would be like 85% for Tully traits cause of Tully dynasty). Also if a lord has the traits of another house but marries a cousin with the traits of his house, the children would inherit the mother's (for example, if Robb Stark had a son with Tully features that married a daughter of Arya Stark with Stark features, the child would be more likely to inherit the Stark features). Thanks again for reading, and this is tied for favorite submod (along with dynastic stability) so please keep up the good work!

durrigongreyjoy It seems kind of odd to add minor houses like that. None of those houses are particularly well known for their distinct looks across westeros like the Baratheon's or Lannister's or Stark's.
