Is this too difficult of a task to resolve conflicts with Tubb's? I do enjoy the secondary trait features of this mod, as well as the dynastic resemblance, but Tubb's faces really freshens everything up. Perhaps the mod could be separated into two different packages, one with portraits + traits, and then just one with traits? Just a thought, thanks for your work

Perhaps the mod could be separated into two different packages, one with portraits + traits, and then just one with traits? Just a thought, thanks for your work As i see the issue not from my side. My dynasty appearances link to western faces, as vanilla. Portraits changed from western to english by his submod. So for solving it, i need to create extra version of strong seed, he doesnt. So there are two solutions: 1) He will rename some english gfx files to western files and put them in his submod, and due to this his western files replace original western files(which in vanilla, not agot vanilla). And my submod will link still to western faces, but in reality they gonna be english 2) i just got rid of two versions my submod by giving crowns/clothes to Lancelot. I don't wanna separate my submod in 2 versions again XD Yes it will take only few minutes for me to create version with english appearance, but meh.... p.s. i still prefer western faces. English faces too pale.

Trying to see if we can go with option #1. These are both such great mods that I wouldn't mind helping out to make this happen. If there are menial/repetitive tasks that are needed to be done.

I've merged Tubbs' faces with Congenital Overhaul, and then changed my copy of Strong Seed to match it. Pretty easy as long as you know what you're doing.

I've actually just finished making a patch for the two mods, that I will upload with permission from Mayonezkun. I've copied the interface files from Strong Seed and edited them to use the same assets as the portraits in my mod. It's set up as it's own mod that requires both my Better Faces mod and Strong Seed, so no need for everyone who wants to use both to copy and paste everything themselves.

But more hard to make them independence and compatible each other same time. I just tested method 1 from my previous message just for my own investigation. Want to say that paradox are "genius". They made different portrait coordinates(or whatever it is) of eyes, ears etc to english and western cultures and there what happened. That face definitely killed me. And after i removed extra coordinates it worked normal. But anyway it means only way to make compatible is to make second version of my submod. In reason of despair just already made it too with second method. But ok if you, tubbs, made it too, i think we made same thing, you just replaced dynasty properties in all files by your portraits properties, yes?)

Yep and made sure to get the order for the eyes, noses, etc. correct other you do end up with what u showed there. I'm happy to create a new thread, upload the patch to my existing thread or send it to you to upload to your thread, whichever suits you best.

I really want to use Tubbs' faces but I can't give up the traits from Congenital Overhaul It's not a proper compatibility patch (as that would require more work) but basically I took the /gfx/characters folder¹ from Tubbs' mod and put it inside the CO mod folder (overwriting where necessary), and then used Winmerge to merge the culture and portraits files to apply them. Requires changing these files: - common\cultures\ first_men.txt / free_cities.txt / jade_sea_2.txt (for the proper culture GFX)
- interface\portrait_properties\ 00_portrait_properties.txt (for the CO crowns and extra hairs/beards)
- interface\portraits\ basically all files, to add the CO crowns
¹With two exceptions: I did not copy over the gfx\characters\dothraki_male\ folder from Tubbs' mod, since I like the additional beards and hairstyles CO adds. And I didn't copy over the winter_female/winter_male folders since I don't want all White Walkers to look exactly the same as they do with Tubbs' mod. Feel free to send me a direct message if you need more help.
