Salve, just reposting this here after popping it to General Discussion:
Ahoy there common folk,
Life was going well up until this date. After many a civil war a young and inspiring King of North Valyria brought peace, prosperity and the whip to his realm and his enemies, respectively. Then, all of a sudden, the game started crashing: Here;s the sequence of events since, and still in urgent need of your' wise counsel(s):
1) Game crashed on autosave, so I looked up and disabled that.
2) Game crashed every save post 1st Jan 8600, so I looked up and decided to change date on Notepad(book whatever).
3) Open Notepad, I'm hit with cuneiform/gobbledygook/hieroglyphics IE. Illegible script.
4) Currently lost the sea of trying to decode into English on Notepad++ (Changing different coding formats isn't working atm)
I'm a technological Neanderthal and havent the scoobiest how to proceed/fix this. Nerds and digital wizards of the Citadel, heed my call sil vous plaise.
Until then, crashed and out.
