Hey there.
I've been trying to use the set_government command to allow a character with a non-Pirate or non-Corsair religion, such as R'hllor, to maintain a Pirate Fleet government type. Basically, I want a non-Pirate religion character to have a Pirate government. However, it reverts back to the previous type (Feudal or Merchant Republic) for me a couple of days after I use the command. I'm using game version 3.3.3, for CK2 AGOT v.2.2.
Even though I've removed the requirement for the Pirate government type be tied to a holder with the Pirate or Corsair religion, it's still reverting me back after only a couple days of in-game time. The same thing happens if I convert to Pirate government and religion, then re-convert back to my character's original religion using the religion <charid> <religion tag> command. My edit to the pirate government type looks like this:

I've also looked through the maintenance_events.txt file to try and see if the game is validating my government type, but I couldn't find anything in particular that's causing it to re-validate against Pirate titles. My suspicion so far is that it's something in the base game to do with the Iqta mechanics (since I understand the Pirate religion/government is based on Iqta in the base game, where you have to be X religion to maintain Y government type), or there's some kind of base-game government type validation going on, similar to the validate_government command. Which, speaking of, also re-sets me back to my original government type after using the set_government command.
I've been looking through the files for this mod for quite a while, but I haven't found anything which could point me towards why this is happening. Is there anywhere else where I could look? I'd really appreciate any advice that you all have. Thanks
p.s.- Very fun mod! It's the most fun I've had in CKII.
