Update: 0.0.2a was also broken, because I forgot how .mods worked. 0.0.2b is not broken in the same fashion. It may, in fact, work properly. This is a kind of progress.

Is the allele-inheritance model next? I will probably do another pass through historical traits and tighten up the localization, first. Also, I have some small tweaks to valyrian swords to do. (Player dynasties should be able to reforge a sword such that the inheritance works like Dark Sister.)
But I probably need to write the allele events before I make bloodlines influence congenital traits, so that's pretty high on the list. Not sure how long it'll take, though.
That sounds cool, that way you don't have to personally tweak them for each run if you want them to have Lady Forlorn/Dark Sister type inheritance. also, will the upcoming versions be playable without More Bloodlines?

I don't actually know, but I would not recommend it. I will try to update for vanilla when I have time. I think I can put things like the swords and allele mechanics in a vanilla-compatible version pretty easily, but I cannot say when I'll tackle more vanilla character histories.

0.0.2c up. This fixes lesser dragon riding bloodlines from MBS, which presently do not influence taming success in vanilla MBS.
I slightly lowered the effects of non-Targ bloodlines, but as they were having no effect before, dragons should now be easier to tame for most characters who try to tame one.
I will overhaul the whole system, eventually, but that's a tomorrow-me problem.

Understandable. as long as the features are in for Vanilla i don't think Character histories are that important. especially considering how many there are and how time-consuming of a process it is.

Would this work for AGOT 2.1 by any chance? PS, Without MBS aswell, or is it strictly 2.2 + MBS compatible one?

hey, My character offspring always has a plain trait. even though i have a Beautiful trait and my Wife have a Fair trait, is that normal?... i mean five of my child and some bastard-born too always has a Plain trait. The chances of you and your wife having a single "Plain" child with those parents are (0.32 * 0.094 =) ~3%. So, no, that is not normal. Be advised that your child's congenital traits don't appear until ~5 years old. (They appear after a child turns 4, but before they turn 6: normally, shortly after they turn 5.) They can have random congenital traits at birth, which in your case would likely be overwritten.
I did discover that non-congenital "ugly" and "unsightly" births are too high, and a fix is up as 0.0.2d.
If you want to send me the save, I'll look at it. It's possible the true_father scope is broken? In any event, the chances of a plain child are only 9.4% for normal couples, so having more than five is extremely RNG.

This is awesome. I don't think I'll be able to directly use any of the files, but I will check.
It will save me time no matter what, however - I'm sure the original has a smoother method to deal with flag inheritance than what I was planning, and I still don't understand all the changes made for HIP.

0.0.2e is up, which should fix any weirdness resulting from bloodline events. Let me know if I missed anything!

The fix is pretty simple. In the history/characters/north file, go down to the character 9266059 (Dummy Sansa/Alayne).
You should see:
if = { limit = { NOT = { trait = fair } } death = yes } under the entry for 8286.12.12
Change fair to pretty.
