Hello everyone, I'm finding a problem that I can't solve in any way I've been learning how to create a dynasty for some time. I managed to do part of the process like adding Dynamic COA and titles. My problem now is with the character history document. By editing traits and relationships in a simple way without any chronological order I can add family members and things that happened to them. I will use Lord Visemar as an example : Character History As previously said, editing in a standard way works perfectly. However, I want to edit so that the character gets his traits in a chronological way because if I want to play for example with Lord Visemar, eight years old, he won't have all these traits that he normally has. However, when edited chronologically, I have the following problem. All traits appear correctly, but all brothers and sisters, wives and children simply disappear. Here's the way I made the file.

If there is an error anywhere in the file, everything that comes AFTER it will seize to exist, and in this case the one error that stands out is the death date line,
It contains an extra bracket that shouldnt be there, as you have the open and close bracket on the same line which is fine, but then also added an extra closed one on the line below it so it ends up reading as follows. 8282.11.1 = {death="8282.11.1"} } Which ends up messing up everything that comes after it, including each new character entry

Thank you very much for your help, it solved my problem. I'm still trying to understand the correct use of } because sometimes I get confused in the quantity and in which line to put You need a closing bracket every time you use an opening bracket. Technically, it doesn't matter if the opening and closing brackets are on the same line or not, as long as the information needed for the grouping is within the two. I personally though like to put the closing bracket on a separate line with the same indentation as the line that starts with the opening bracket. To take an example from one of my submods, it looks like this:
c_1002059 = { add_trait = full_blood set_character_flag = has_valyrian_blood_trait } Sometimes I'll put the closing bracket on the same line, but not often, like this:
NOT = { character = 1002059 } So really it's just based on your own preference. I personally use the former example the most since it helps in seeing and organizing the code in between the brackets better when there is a lot more information than there is in the second example.

Thanks for the tip, luckily with the practice I learned to edit the characters' history without any errors after the tips that were given to me. Now my challenge is learning how to create Valyrian swords, just the part of the trait, since despite having created a functional trait and the artifact with its due modifiers and events, my character instead of acquiring the trait with the name and sword image simply acquires the 'valyrian steel sword' EDIT : For some reason with the new update the trait is now working without any problems
