They have a bend sinister line of White prints on a Brown field. Reversed colors and bend sinisters both Show bastardy in Westeros. While we don't know the colors of Woodfoot, a Brown foot print (for the Wood of their foot) on a White field(for the Northern snow) isn't a far off guess with no information available. A bastard's son born in marriage can take a name for himself, as Rennifer Longwater's ancestor put "long" before his name or even a bastard himself can take on a name just as Benedict the Just did.
In light of these, I put again the suggestion of making them a Woodfoot cadet and moving them to bear island.

There is no correlation at all besides both houses ending their name with 'foot'. House Woodfoot coat of arms is unknown and yes, it is rather a far off guess since many houses have sigils not related at all to their names.
