Ancestor Veneration doctrine/reform reformation?

I'm pretty deep into a great game where I've reformed the drowned god faith to have Ancestor Veneration because I'm all about bloodlines.  I can't find any event anywhere (even looking for Beatification) that could trigger this so now I'm regretting picking that doctrine.

Is there a way to edit the save so that I have another doctrine?  Even better, is there a way can I venerate ancestors?
