Perhaps there's some simple answer to this question I haven't thought of, but whenever I play a game with Aegon VI and I marry Daenerys, I don't get the prompt to change names of the children we have, I just get the randomly chosen one.
I tried a game randomly playing as Sigorn of Thenn to see if the same happened with his children with Alys Karstark, but there I got the popup to change the name.
I've made sure Dany is in King's Landing when she births, it's not a matrilineal marriage and it never happened in previous games, although I've mostly married Aegon to Sansa in those. Is Daenerys just too strong willed?
