How to survive the Long Nights: Here we are in the kingsmoot thinking ways to survive the coming Long Night when it comes to me:
"What do they lack most in the far north? - BEER MONEY!" All those pesky wildlings use for trade are those shabby squirrel pelts, so no wonder the Cold Ones take their eternal servitude instead. With my gift money they can finally pay for the beer. Now they only have to figure out how to make the beer not freeze the moment it touches their lips... There is no better way to survive the Long Night than in comfort of your cozy island by the warmth of your hearth-fire, knowing the Cold Ones are slaughtering your enemies in the mainland and leave you in peace for cashing in your favors from them... The moral of the Story?- Know when to pay the iron price and when to pay the gold price.

Are you suggesting the Cold Ones are lying wouldn't honor their owed favors? Then what am I sending them beer-gold for? One thing I have never seen or heard the Cold Ones doing is lying (if you don't ever speak, lying is kinda hard) and making deals with the Colds worked out quite well for Craster... Atleast until those pesky Crows came to ruin his good thing. Also what would those thousand ships of the Cold Ones look like? Icebergs? The ocean currents would probably give them detour around the Sunset sea, if they would try such a foolhardy journey to Iron Islands. There probably is a good reason why the Dothraki, Wildlings and Cold Ones avoid the seas and stay at continental warfare...
