I wasn't paying attention and my game updated to 3.2. I continued my save about 5 years and now that I have rolled it back to the correct version to match the mod, it says unsupported when I try to load my most recent save (that I made whilst on 3.2).
Is there any way to continue on from my most recent save now that I have rolled my CK2 back to the correct version?
Hope this is making sense...

Some updates can work with save games, it depends on the kind of updates that happend.
Steam does allow to install previous versions.
Before updating, you could change the mods folder name to function as a backup folder, maybe include the version name in the folder's description.
