So I know that this has been a bug that has plagued this mod since it's early stages. You know, the dreaded save bloat bug that crashes autosaves on January 1st each year, and slows down the game to crawling speeds (mixed in with some other crashes at random for good measure). I've searched for quite awhile on this forum and online for any solutions or workarounds people have to these issues. The latest updates which fixed the .defunct error flag are wonderful, but even then I still run in to the same issues where the game is slow and crashing in less than 150 years! This is such a fantastic mod, I don't think that such a short play-through can fully capture all of the fun there is to be had!
So I'm directly asking now if there is any sort of workarounds to prevent or mitigate the save bloat that can ruin any decently long campaign. Any sort of solution, such as not starting from certain bookmarks, or disabling certain features, that anyone happens to know! It would be much appreciated!
