Is it possible to change trade routes mid-game or is it bound to cause problems?
(Forgot to enable Westeros trade routes and noticed it few decades in the game.)

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Since trade routes were programmed as non-dynamic and the map (and trade routes) is hard coded.
OffTopic: What kind of mod are you talking about? I don't know any Westeros trade routes mod.

Sorry for the misunderstanding I was asking if I can modify files with trade routes (uncommenting the westeros ones) and then continue from the save or if I need to start a new game.
Not sure if this shouldn't be in general.

It isn't a mod it is in the base mod there is file with trade routes in westeros it is just commented out for performance reasons iirc.

You need to start a new game, it's also going to crash your current save. I will be honest, i don't know why the vanilla mod doesn't have them active. I use erbkaiser's Trade Routes re-enabled and revised sub-mod and never noticed a big performance loss due to it. |
