Hey all,
So I'm having great fun playing as the High King of Sarnor in the Century of Blood start but I look around the world and...nobody is building any buildings at all. I've checked and many have plenty of gold, but it just piles up while they refuse to upgrade their holdings. It's getting to a point where I feel i'm gaining an unfair advantage with all of my buildings and upgrades.
Is there a way to increase the AI's propensity to build in their holdings? For instance, the King of New Ghis has 1200 gold and his capital has no buildings except the castle.
Why is this happening?

I've noticed by vassals usually save up for a certain building or upgrade they want. Sometimes you can goad them into it by building them yourself. That's the only thing I've done. But I don't play as anyone in Essos either. Maybe they think slaves/unsullied are more important than building?

Nah, it's everybody. They don't build anything in Westeros either. Something is wrong with the AI and I wish I knew how to fix it.
They have huge gold reserves that just sit around unspent. It is maddening.

Like I said, I've seen them save up for a particular building or upgrade. They'll have a castle, godswood and a town, then build an additional godswood(which is annoying). I've goaded them into building stuff by starting the construction myself. That's the only thing I know of to help. Otherwise, hopefully a Dev team member comments or someone with more know how than me lol.
