I'm looking for some new houses to play as. I always enjoy playing as a super minor or unique house, perhaps from a landless character who only exists at a certain time. An example would be Arlan and Roger Pennytree, or Rennifer Longwaters, or Ser Dunk using his personal arms. Characters with interesting stories and unique CoAs placed in-game for little more than just flavour. Anyone got any suggestions?

if you use the more bloodlines mod theres a bunch of minor bastard houses. 3 in Volantis with targ bloodlines theres house fireball from quentyn "fireball" ball I really like their coat of arms. A northern house called Tuttle some darkly, reyne and tarbeck cadets. I usually start a game at a date and search with all filters off cept I turn great house to no it shows all the unlanded cool houses just sort by dynasty. Swear I saw a woolfield/manderly bastard in the later book marks with a sweet mermaid field COA too

How about Oswell Kettleblack? he has always the quick trait. 1 son in the kingsguard. 1 son holding city of kings landing. I've never played with the Kettleblacks but I should totally try it!
Tuttle is actually a family from the Telltale game. I love playing as those guys! Thanks a lot for those recommendations. I'll absolutely try searching around. Some bastard lines are a great idea. I always like the idea of playing as someone who has essentially nothing to him, but might have some excellent heritage somewhere down the line. That's why I enjoy playing as Rennifer. Not a great character, but has a great bloodline and a killer CoA (which I think came from the devs, so killer work whoever designed it).

the slynts are also a option since janos was lord of harrenhall for a minute they have a strong claim on it. i think he has two sons and a daughter. For sure! The only problem is they all come from the seed of Janos Slynt

Become turtle-y enough for the Turtle Club. Play as House Estermont or, if you like a challenge, House Tudbury.
