First of all i haven't played crusader kings 2 since holy fury came out and the mod for longer so i need some info and advice before i start some campaigns.
Have there been any changes to YI TI since 2018. What doctrines and nature of the Yi Ti religion suit if i reform it?
Is there a way to change leng succession laws to male preference as they only have enatic or cognatic. I want to be in more in line with my other kingdoms inheritance. So is there any to do this. Also if there is not is there a way to keep the Kingdom of Leng within the same dynasty. What i mean is i don't want foreigners or my other vassals inheriting it due to them marrying the woman to there sons etc. I know there used to be a thing when a female was to inherit it would automatically divorce from both ai and player controlled characters and then do maternal marriage making sure the heir belonged to mother family. What rule is this and and is automatically on? (if not should i just give the duchies to my landlocked vassals to give them sea access?).

I always do Peaceful (if not they’ll wage nonstop wars, I would do Unyielding if I’m playing as Yi Ti tho) Polygamy, and Ancestor Veneration. God King would be the canonical approach to reforming, but its currently bugged in the mod so I use Hierocratic.
Leng being ruled by Empresses in canonical. You would have to reform the religion to be patriarchal to change it. I’ve never noticed a problem with the dynasty failing.

God King is bugged whats wrong with it? The thing with Leng is that as Yi Ti i conquer them so the problem is they then marry into my vassals and being enatic the daughters may marry the heirs to my princes which means two kingdoms will combine i don't want that to happen.

God Emperor right now endlessly generates new deities upon loading, so eventually your save game won’t load without editing the save file to remove the excess deities. I choose Ancestor Veneration over Meritocracy just because, but I could see an argument for both.

Fair enough what do you think of warmongering nature? is the no penalty for raise levy worth the prestige hit during peace?

Going back to OP's question as to whether there has been any changes to Yi Ti since 2018 (and adding in a bit of shameless self-promotion): I don't think there's been any major changes, but a Yi Ti submod was released very recently that you might be interested in checking out ( agotcitadel.boards.net/thread/2768/yi-ti-expanded).
