My game keeps having all my locations character portraits disapear essentially killing my game any help would be much appreciated thanks!

You need to give more information.
Like which version of the CKII game are you running,which version of the mod.
Are you using any submods or have you made any changes to the files.
Is only your character portrait affected(the one you play) or are others also affected(the ai).
Which start date and also does it happen when you start the game or later on as you play.
etc.
You could also upload an uncompressed save file and take a better in game screenshot.
