Has anyone else noticed Lords Paramount imprisoning and torturing/killing their vassals at an insanely high rate? I have LPs with Kind, Just, Honorable traits imprisoning lord after lord (fathers, sons) and eradicating whole lines. Kinda frustrating.

I have noticed this too, I have seen multiple families go through three or more generations of rulers in the span of 5 or so years. As each ruler is imprisoned and subsequently sent to the wall, just to have their heir do the same thing 2-3 years later.
I assume this is due to some of the more minor plots being counted as treason against their liege, i.e. a plot to murder some random courtier or counselor they want the position from. Instead of just telling them to stop the plots (Like what I mostly do), it seems as the AI just imprisons most of the them, usually succeeding the first try and not having to go to war.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, but I'm not sure why it's happening so much more often now than it used to. It's basically killing off entire families, bloodlines just dying out because somebody wanted to replace someone else as Master of arms

I've been seeing a lot of the "the realm will bleed events" since the update. In my recent game my character (custom Targ cadet duke level lord) befriended the current Lord Manderly. The current Stark (with honorable and just traits) deposed Lord Manderly and he fled to my court. I figured my character would help out her friend so she went to war to restore his seat (dragons were a huge help of course.) She proceeds to immediately revoke his titles again. We war again. After the third war, I console cheat to make the Manderlys direct vassals of the Iron Throne. I'm sure once the King transfers vassalige back we will war again. I just couldn't let the Manderlys die out, especially not at the hands of the Starks.

I've seen many wars of lords who refuse to be imprisoned so they rebel and loses their lands, so if it's a House that I like very much like the Tarlys I start to try and give their lands back. I think minor and high lords should choose more often to accept being imprisoned for the sake of their Houses like it looks to be common in Ice and Fire. |

Here, I just made a small mod which removes all council plots i.e replace master of arms etc.This is obviously not a permanent solution but it's still better than seeing lord paramounts in non stop war with their vassals

Is it possible to change the outcome of the war so it is not a treason charge to refuse with rebellion? Arguably if you do that you'd also need to make it so that if the vassal somehow wins the war it should not be an overthrow liege war either though. Failing that, having a maintenance event to pardon to treason would probably work out well enough, since they're already in jail by that point anyways, so at the very least it'd be tyrannical to grab their lands(Not that the AI has problems with that sometimes).
This of course wouldn't stop the constant wars perhaps, but would solve the land grab issues. Sadly I imagine plot leader is a hard coded reason for imprisoning.

I just feel like this is a recent development. I select "auto stop plots" in the intrigue tab, does that carry over to AI? It just feels like people are a hell of a lot more active in plotting than they used to be.
