Whenever I try to save the game after a certain date (1.1.8461) I get a CTD. This happens with auto save and with a regular save. If I turn off auto save and simply dont save the game will run for a while but then crash on a random date.
I tried saving compressed, uncompressed, turning off auto save and skipping this year only saving in 8462 but to no avail.
I used to have save game bloat on this save but fixed it using the method detailed in this thread:

(Not sure if that is relevant at all, but might be good to know).
