Hi! I was wandering if the dev have some plan regardin th the next update of ck2 from the 112 dev diary ? I am already hype, it have a lot of potential in agot like the construction of kings landing or the renovation of harrendal, the kings road, or the grey hall. Why not the wall that can be "upgrade" in reasonable scale of course I know it's already implemented but it could allow easier modification or the implementation of new wonder.

I am super excited to see what AGOT wonders we can build and upgrade, from big wonders (Red Keep, Sept of Baelor, Oldtown Lighthouse) to smaller customized wonders in one's own realm. Anxious to see what this could mean for some of the wonders in Essos too. Can't wait!

I think the obvious wonders that would be added are the 9 wonders of the world The Wall The Valyrian roads The Titan of Braavos The triple walls of Qarth The three bells of Norvos The Long Bridge of Volantis The Palace With a Thousand Rooms in Sarnath The Great Pyramid of Ghis

Its called wonders for a reason. Making a wonder out of Winterfell catacombs or a royal garden, will just erase whole point of it all. Those things and places, while important in the story, do not constitute massive building projects on monumental scale, which would qualify a wonder. It would seem what in the AGOT universe, most ancient and powerful civilizations being in Essos, that is where most of the monuments of that kind is at. Much of it lost in the desert, marshes and jungles of Essos, where ancient civilizations, and Empires once existed. That said, a few projects in Westeros would qualify, as great monumental works.
Although, technically, that is a magical realm. If something is built using fantastical powers, or magic, even if its on the grandest of scales, does it still qualify as a wonder? In our world, such things, are a product of unusually complexity and work. Things what at least at time of their construction, where incredibly hard to create, let alone replicate; usually with equally massive price tag. Something so expensive, and difficult to build, what its just not done all that often. But in a magic realm, if a mage can use spells and dragons and what not, to create things a normal mortal cant, or at least not easily, is it still a "wonder" ? Relevant to say Valyrian ruins. If its magic what built or helped to build some of their greater works, does it still qualify to the same definition of achievement as a wonder? Not sure.

However that's not to say that great wonders now in ruins cannot be rebuilt by determined human beings, the beautiful thing about the Game of Thrones mod and Crusader Kings 2 in general is that you can take a person who has no established history and is a blank slate and turn them into a renowned leader of your own historical making, in addition to that take a fallen culture on the decline and barely surviving and bring them back from the brink: So yes this is a case of wonders that exist, some may be in ruins but can be rebuilt

Uh, I might have missed something, or is there no Wonders in the latest update? I just went into a new game to have a look and I could not find any existing wonders nor build any new ones.
-Edit- Ok, I found a rumor that the wonder feature would not be used in this mod. I think that is a shame but if it's the creator's decision to do so, I'm ok with that. I found the rumor in this thread if anyone is wondering. -/Edit-
