You know that button beside the coat of arms of an individual that you click to bring up the coa designer? Yeah, how does one access that without being the head of dynasty? I'm EXTREMELY sure it requires a bit of modding to change the rules then you can do it. The reason WHY I want this (not just in AGOT, but in playing CK2 and all other mods in general) is to allow the player to fix horribly named and designed dynasties that the ai generates. Like a coa with pink and orange mesh? A landed character (that isn't your vassal but is important in the "ck2 world" in general) named "of a location" when scores of characters already have the EXACT SAME dynasty name? Constant usage of the same leaves and acorns and tree motifs? I don't want to keep saving then reloading as a different character just to change bad looking and sounding coat of arms/dynasty names.

You can use the console command to switch to the head of that dynasty or to their top liege and do it that way. I did try to figure out how to mod it myself to just let the player do that any time without having to use the console but I couldn't find where the rule for it is located.

Blast. I'm extremely sure it's doable. I'm not very sure, but I think I played a mod before that allows what I want. Huhh, sourjapes, thanks for the reply, but your method destroys chronicles for characters. It's like a streamlined, but with consequences, method of saving, then exiting, then loading a new char. My goal is "just" to fix the various coa that the ai splurges out (horrendously).

the way I do it is switch to the top liege (independent lord OR King of IT) and switch it around. When you're on the throne you can do it for everyone. But having an easier way to do it would be nice
