Alright, my goal here is to be able to have a bloodline that passes down traits ie genius, brave, lunatic etc. I'm just having a ton of trouble figuring out how to do it. I've managed to essentially create my own custom bloodline through file editing, but nothing I do seems to be working. I'm wondering if this is even possible (it seems like it should be), and if it is do you have any idea how to do it.

Well, for non-congenital traits like brave there's that event that gives "emulating a legend", so you could give your progenitor all traits and raise the possibility of the event, I don't know if it can only happen once nor if congenital traits like genius can also be made to pass this way.

Hi so basically the easiest way (afaik) is to emulate the way that through an event people who have the child of destiny bloodline gain ambitious, I've implemented this for my more bloodlines submod and can walk you through how to do it for yourself if you want

Yes please! Do you know/ think it would be possible with genetic traits such as genius or even negative genetic traits. And thank you!!!

yeah so its entirely possible, I've been able to make it so that a yearly maintenance events gives all umbers tall and strong for example and then there are random events that can fire that gives say the starks a direwolf, the blood of the mad king fire obsessed, the codds craven, or Braavosi courtesans fair

What should I do ? Thanks Right at the bottom of the save file is a list of bloodlines, find the bloodline and add the id of the character to the members list, let me know if there are any issues

Like you said, Starks being strong, Lannisters being quick, etc? No need to overhaul every house, that would be insane, just the major houses.

So this is my mod agotcitadel.boards.net/thread/1752/more-bloodlines-submod-v1-outFeel free to suggest changes or additions to the trait gain system its currently quite thorough with 30 different traits available for houses associated with that traits - to reference your examples the starks get just, wolf, direwolf, greensight, small chance of poet (Bael the Bard) and mystic (I wouldn't really say they're known for being super strong like the crakehalls, umbers, Royces and baratheons are) and the lannisters get a chance to become ambitious and an intrigue boost - there have been a lot of dumb lannisters so increased chance if quick felt to generous
