The old unitpacks adapted for GoT mod seem to have died off quite a while ago, and in its current state it is incompatible with the current version. Is there anyone capable and/or interested in making a similar submod? I really do miss playing with the DLC unit models, and hoping there are someone more talented at modding than me, that also misses them!

I just begun to play around with the units a bit. Starting with resetting the ships of different cutures right now. Ironborn = Longships(Vikings). Valyrian group = Byzantine Galleys etc. Maybe i will do more, but if anyone know a finished mod i would prefer it!

In the 1.5 version of the mod, I managed to add dlc units for specific cultures by adding graphical culture types in the common/culture texts for the respective cultures. It seems that I can no longer do that as it will always use the default western units no matter what I do. While looking through the .mod file I couldn't see anything that replaces the path of the vanilla interface folder and I have no idee why the graphical culture types dosen't pick up the dlc units. Could someone more experienced with modding point me to the right place?

I have the same problam as Praz at the moment. The game seems not to recognize when i use DLC units and falls back to westerngfx.

Just loaded up that old unitpack on my game and the units are correctly changed, the culture files will need a bit of touching up but other than that looks like it still works.

I copied and pasted the common + interface folders into the congenital overhaul mod folder and play with congenital overhaul + units submods and for some reason it works on all the bookmarks except Andal Invasion. My guess is because Andal Invasion has different cultures like old_ironborn etc which the outdated units mod isn't compatible with (I have chinese light units when playing Andal Invasion + units + congenital overhaul).
It's really annoying because I want to play as the Greyirons during the Andal Invasion but the default western knight units are immersion breaking when playing Cthulhu worshipping vikings. ;P

I think the issue with this submod is that it needs updating. It works fine when enabled, but because there's been several new cultures added with their own unit sprites, it's causing havoc with the submod. Like I said, it works fine when enabled, but everyone uses the Wildling/Vale Tribes units instead of their own.

Those sprites look great. Would be excellent to see some more variety than what's available in the base mod!
