I do have issues editing canon characters (Aegon, Visenya, Rhaenys), w/ save editing I found there's a flag that they get that forces the portrait so you can only change it by consoling to them and using the barbershop option in the menu, otherwise it works fine for characters that are born/spawned after the game start Seems like I had to delete the common folder which contains “traits” and now they seem to be working for me. Might be different cause I loaded in this Portrait mod 130 years in-game. Only problem is it seems I don’t get any of the High Valyrian options as I only get like 3-4 options then they don’t change anything. Seems it’s certain traits such as Master Seducer, Administrator, Fashionable etc that force your portrait (clothing) and limit your options (when using w/ AGOT Customize Appearance) for I don’t know why or how to fix so if anybody has any ideas that’d be great.

Will the latest update be compatible with the new More Bloodlines version?

Will the latest update be compatible with the new More Bloodlines version? Yeah, I'll make it compatible. Sorry I haven't been able to keep it updated and add stuff, I keep trying to make time to get back to it but something always comes up. Thankfully, I've got a few weeks coming up this month where I can work on it nonstop.

I can’t seem to get it to work without crashing CK2 upon the start of a new game. My only mods besides this one are More Bloodlines and Congenital Overhaul. I’m 100% sure I’ve used the right compatches every time but it still crashed. My CK2 version is 3.3.0 right now.
What could be the issue? I’ve also tried running it without Congenital Overhaul and downgrading to More Bloodlines 2.2 to no avail.
It’s pretty sad because I really wanted to use PO!

Not sure if it's because I'm using the 2.2 version of MB instead of the 3.0, but when using this mod, the tops of the heads and several of the hairstyles do not line up properly.

I know that this mod is apparently out of date a little (still largely works for me though). The only thing that doesn't work is the compatch for the Mixed religions/cultures mod. Does anyone else have the problem of always getting Westerosi Valyrian children (their portrait gfx/ethnicity) instead of, for example, Yin-Valyrian or Dothraki Valyrian? Maybe I just installed it wrong? These hybrid gfx, cultures, and religions do exist in the game because I can create a custom character with them. But, actually producing a child in the game with the hybrid gfx doesn't work.
I use:
AGOT Mixed Ethnicities- Base AGOT PO + Mixed Ethnicities AGOT PO - Base AGOT PO - Characters AGOT PO - Enhanced Child GFX
Other than the base CK2 AGOT mod, this is all I have enabled. Would appreciate if someone else has this issue and has a solution?
Also, thanks to the mod author, great stuff. Definitely makes playing CK2 AGOT easier on the eyes.

In my experience, I opened the cheat console and used the command to change their graphical culture to my desired one. I also tried & went into the file for mixed ethnicities, went to events, to nos_mixed_ethnicity_events and changed the chance of having a kid w/ the mixed portrait. I'm not sure if it 100% worked but I saw results with these two ideas. If a child has a valyrian parent & a non-valyrian parent, the valyrian chance might be higher than the mixed portrait one, so you should be able to lower that chance in favor of the mixed ethnicity portrait. Hope this helps!

Hope this helps! Thanks, I didn't know about the console command to change character gfx in-game. That does help some, I tested it and characters who are (Yin-Valyrian for example) hybrid can then go on to produce hybrid children. But unfortunately, I still can't get the original first generation high valyrians to naturally have kids that are hybrid. I guess the only way is to just manually change their children's gfx_culture. And, I did check the Mixed Ethnicities mod for the chance of having hybrid children and I don't think that's the problem. Most of the hybrid options are set to 50% or higher. I just don't think that the compatch for Portrait Overhaul is communicating properly with the Mixed Ethnicities mod somehow. Based on the Mixed Ethnicities mod's info, in the case of a child between a High Valyrian character and a Yi-Tish character then the chances for a hybrid are 70%, 15% for high valyrian, and 15% for Yi-Tish. Under these rules, a Westerosi-Valyrian child shouldn't even be possible, so whenever one is born I think that's just because Portrait Overhaul is somehow replacing the hybrid option with Westerosi-Valyrian. In any case, thanks for the help.

Hi is there any chance you could make the mod downloadable in chunks i.e. Westerosi portraits, free city portraits etc. its just I'm having problems extracting the mod due to its size and wondered if it could be downloaded in smaller chunks to fix this.

For some reason Congenital Overhaul mod screws up the portraits, but it works fine when i deactivate it.
Does anyone know a fix for CO mod?
Nvm i managed to fix it, but seems like pretty much all characters are wearing helmets

hi, first of all this is my favourite portrait mod for agot and i give praise and thanks to the OP for making this submod. I made an account for agot citadel to give some suggestions for this mod in particular! 1- PLEASE! make more hairstyles for the male high valyrian portraits, specifically long hair, the type we see in HOTD of daemon and aemond + daemon blackfyres medium/long hair i feel like the hair options we currently have for high valyrians is rather limited and more short hair focused, i would love to see more if possible 2- I would appreciate if we got more black outfits for the high valyrian portraits perhaps again* inspired from HOTD (lmfao im sorry) + i feel like some outfits currently available dont really fit the targaryen look an example would be aenys/aegon ii/daeron ii targaryens outfit in the screenshots posted but i know this is entirely subjective and some might def be lore inspired old valyria clothes and more accurate but they seem like dresses to me. sorry if i come off as entitled or arrogant it is not my intention. thank you for reading
