Hi everyone, here is me again trying to fix the one-man dynasty bug. If you had the bug and willing to try this fix, please tell me you still have it or no. If yes, I think I will start the busy work of manually put every historical dynasty in the trigger, because getting this trigger working as intended is seriously becoming a headache.

Sorry. Three years of gaming and spam from hundreds of random families.

Ah this is no good at all. Alright, I will brute force and put the dynasties in the list by hand.

Mine generated a ton of legitimized bastards... But the mod idea is amazing because I spend like half of my games trying to save those dynasties and bloodlines. Keep up the good work!

Hello everyone! Good news, I have found from where the legit bastard horde bug was coming from, and it is now corrected. You can now enjoy the DLS submod without it (hopefully) chugging your computer. This should also fix the dragon bastard bug some of you had. The downside is that the DLS check in the beginning on the game is only done on the rulers. The bug happened because the check was on all the courtiers in the game. The check is thus not done on houses who have lost their holdings at the beginning of your game (such as Mudd, Strickland, Tarbeck, Targaryen or Stark, depending of your start date). I would advise to take that into consideration and use the manual DLS adding on the dynasties you want to preserve at the beginning of the game. The 1.4 version is available here: LINK HERE

i guess it's incompatible with some mods cause when i tried to test this mod out by killing out the male line with console command literally nothing happens, their liege just inherits the title lol...

That’s surprising. Did you check if their dynasty had the DLS on, and if yes, what submods are you using?

Hey I'm having a bug where dynasties that aren't landed for example Mandrake don't spawn a bastard after death. I also can't manually spawn one. When the house is landed this isn't an issue but would like exile houses to survive without me routinely checking in on them. I tried the mod with sub-mods and just with the AGOT mod alone and its still an issue. Any help appreciated thanks!

Yeah this is a logical issue of the automated system used to detect the historic houses of the game. They have to be (A) landed and (B) in Westeros. When that's not the case, the DLS system does not check after them. However it's surprising you can't give them the DLS mark, or even manually create bastards. Do you have the "DLS Show" option in your decision tab?

Yes I do the show DLS system in the decisions tab and they are checked for it despite that they still wont spawn bastards manually or after death. I thought this was an issue since I run about 20 other sub-mods but this occurs with no other mods outside of the main AGOT mod. I'm fine manually setting the ones that are unlanded since its the same 10 houses or so its just annoying if that doesn't work out for whatever reason and the dynasties die off even if marked by DLS manually by me.

I checked using the v1.4 available in download and all works fine... I'm gonna put it step by step, if you did the same and it still doesn't work the problem probably comes from somewhere else.
1/ Checking the "Show Dynastic Life-Support" option in Decisions
2/ Find a character from an exiled dynasty that does not have the DLS system on (here a Mudd). Take the decision "Mark for Dynastic Life-Support"
3/ As a bonus verification, you can right click again on them and verify if they have "Remove from Dynastic Life-Support". Alternatively, put "charinfo" in the console command, then fly your mouse over the dynastic flag. If you can see "dynastic_life_support" on the flags of the dynasty, that's good to go.
4/ Wait for him to die or ruthlessly kill him through console. If the DLS works as intended, another character should pop up.
If you did this, and it still not working, I don't really know from where it could come from. As you said, it's not an conflict with another submods... Do you use another langage than english when playing, by any chance?

I only play in English. So here is house Mudd in my current game as you can tell the flag for DLS is on Now I'm unsure why but I cant spawn a bastard for him until I land him and his dynasty will die off when I kill him Something weird I just noticed is if I land him then take his land away his DLS works properly and bastards are spawned both manually and when his dynasty dies. Would this have something to do with code regarding historical houses? I'm unsure why it works if I land him and then take the land away but maybe that gives some indication as to why its wrong.
