Hello! Recently someone did a minor fix that had been bothering a few people for years now, over at agotcitadel.boards.net/thread/4431/bloodlines-correction-provinces-north-valyria?page=1&scrollTo=25020basically a few provinces in North Valyria in the More Bloodlines submod had some annoying issues since that mod was originally made with Colonizable Valyria in mind, and this simple provinces.bmp fixed it. The only other current up-to-date mod that has the provinces.bmp changed would be this one for obvious reasons, so was just wondering if you minded making changes to the North Valyria provinces as well for compatibility? It would still be rather fitting for this mod to do so, and it's literally just changing them back to the original base mod's provinces.

The small islands of Waycastle and Gullet Tower aren't connected to mainland Westeros. Not sure if this was intentional.
Something else, in the NorthHFH dynasties, the barrowman dynasties have the "krakenman" culture. Also, no random dynasties exists for Bearman characters, that's why I encountered some guy named Smith as a husband of a Mormont Lady.

Hey I really like and enjoy this mod. The additional provinces and houses only add to original mod. I did notice that some of the provinces in the different regions lack a castle building for (Northman keep I, riverman castle II, etc) and I can't build one with the province upgrade option.

Fixing the regional barracks problem. Refer to dw's posts earlier in the thread and in the CBBT thread for other important fixes. For those with little modding or editing experience, find one word common to all of the clustered buildings and use the search function in any text editor to find each building. Copy and paste the below blocks of text over the text in the original mbs_regional_barracks.txt file in the Homes for Houses mod folder. mods/AGOT Homes for Houses/common/buildings. There are quite a few more fixes not related to regional barracks, but if I get around to posting them it will probably be in a different post. This one is long enough. I will eventually post something similar (regional barracks fix) in the Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things mod. The two posts will not be the same. I do not remember 100% but I am certain that the CBBT mod added another province or two which needs to be taken into account. I just posted the regional barracks fixes for HfH separately in this thread for those who do not use CBBT. For now CBBT users should use this post to fix their copy of HfH. However until they apply the fixes in CBBT as well the regional barracks will still not be fixed.
I will eventually add the Crownlander barracks but as I have been playing pre-Conquest I did not get around to it... Frankly I am very busy nowadays and I don't know when I will have time. I just posted this because I felt sorry for people who hadn't already fixed the regional barracks for themselves.
If anybody knows how to add a clause so that I can have provinces which later join the Night's Watch (New Gift, etc) begin with Northman barracks and then switch to Nightswatch barracks it would be appreciated.

A Far East and HfH compatch would be amazing, but just for anyone wondering what the work on that would look like, it'd basically amount to changing every id for every province, going into each text file that adds stats and buildings to provinces, and re-numbering every single one to fit the new number of provinces. Not to mention a crap load of other stuff. That in and of itself is hard and laborious, but take into account that you're not starting from scratch and have to search through each mod's files (which may be SUUUPPPER long text files) to find where the differences are to change them. With winmerge it wouldn't be so bad, that's what I've been using to make rudimentary changes to mods, but other than that, its way out of my league.

Love this mod, but it seems to have overlooked numerous places. Several provinces in the Stormlands and Crownlands lack a castle tier (I-VI) leaving them pathetically small compared to their neighbours. Given just a brief glance I found the following places missing castle tiers.

I've spent some time fixing the incompatibilities in my modlist, and took the opportunity to fix some of the bugs in Houses for Homes: - The barracks bugs explained in the posts above has been fixed - The bug causing the missing castle tiers in some duchies has been fixed - Incompatibility with Faces Modification submod has been fixed (I don't know for Portrait Overhaul though) Download for Houses for Homes
And don't forget to delete the previous files before installing those ones!

This does not fix the issues if you are using with the CBBT + HFH version, so if possible could you do a compatch/fix for that version? Edit: Perhaps you can send the edits/fixes to floppy to include in his next update? If he can successfully make hfh work with mbs for his next update.

Ah, that's because I'm not using CBBT.
I tried a quick and ugly fix of the CBBT + HfH version, that should do the trick. Link here.
(Basically just copied / paste my modified mbs_barracks.txt and geographical_regions.txt files in CBBT submod)
