Guys, I was thinking about a cool idea that's not lore friendly but I thought it is cool. Here's the concept;
The Daynes are recognized in the lore as a famous dynasty because of their ancestral sword, Dawn. Anyone who wields it that is a Dayne and is a masterful fighter gets the "Sword of the Morning" nickname. I think that's pretty cool. Basically, I was thinking about creating a family that's the opposite of them. Like, if a dayne wields Dawn and is the sword of the morning, this guy from the dynasty/family I'm talking about would be the Knight of the Evening.
It's basically the same stuff that is already in the game for the daynes, just with different "flavour". The mechanics of the daynes such as "claim dawn" event would work the same way with this family/dynasty. For example, let's say that this family has a valyrian steel sword that's named "Evening", so the event/decision to be a Knight of the Evening (nickname given to the person who wields "evening") would work the same way as it works with the daynes.
Well I thought it was a cool idea to place them in the Stormlands, in Nightsong. As far as I know, there are no dynasties in the region that have a valyrian steel sword so I think it would be cool to "balance" it in some way by placing a cool family with a cool concept in the Stormlands.
Off-topic: There are no valyrian steel swords in the Riverlands but I think that the Riverlands are uninteresting as fuck, lol.
Anyway, I think it is a interesting concept that would be nice to the game. Let me know what you guys think.

Cool idea, but already happened. King Vorian Dayne, who was defeated by Princess Nymeria, and sent to the Night's Watch wielded Dawn, and was then known as "the Sowrd of the Evening."

Dusk. I think the word you're looking for is Dusk. At least that's what I would name it.
It is an interesting idea actually! But which House would get it? Personally I don't like messing too much with the Westeros great houses in my sub-mod but there's plenty of Houses in Essos that are not canon and nobody would be too upset if we gave them a sword like that. Specially in Volantis or Pentos.
I could give it a crack at it actually, sounds simple enough. Always willing to add cool stuff like this to my sub-mod. Just need to pick the house to add it to!
Edit: Hmm... House Nightsong in the Stormlands? I'll have to check them out. Their House sigil is hideous...

Actually, this idea came from the Sword of the Evening like you said, Losinal.
Well, we could put them in Essos if you want, I thought about it a while ago and it's kinda cool, because in Westeros we would have a "sword of the morning" and in Essos we would have the "knight of the evening". House Nightsong? Nightsong is a province, the dynasty that rules Nightsong is called House Caron. I think they are not a great house. Aren't the great houses the most important ones? Like the Baratheons, Tyrells, Arryns, etc...

Why not House Dondarrion of Blackhaven?

Well, I think it's best to create a new house from scratch. At least the first lord of the house.
Edit: No need to pick an already existing house but it's up to you guys. We can think of something cool to do with this mod.

I called them "great houses" but that's just the big seven houses. My bad really... I call every house with a castle "great" but that's just me really.
Anwyays, I propose House Greatwood in Seven Stars. Here are my arguments:
*They are in Essos, and are a non-canon House with no established lore
*They are in the small area of the Andals annexed to Pentos that worships the Faith of the Seven
*They can be Knighted, making the title "Knight of the Evening" possible and relevant for such house
*Their house sigil is cool

Sounds great Yarosara.
And what about adding the nickname to the game and the valyrian steel sword "Dusk" like you said? I only know how to do basic stuff like changing values to traits, decisions, events. And changing the name and description of some things. I don't know how to create things basically so I don't have much experience in saying what would be difficult to do or not. Do you think you can do it?

The title "Sword of the Morning" used by Dawn is given out as part of the Intrigue action that the Daynes unlock to claim the sword when all the conditions are met. Usually titles are given out by events, but for Dawn that is not the case. So basically you just need to add the title "nick_knight_of_the_evening" to the Nickname files (along with the proper tweaks to localization), then in the Intrigue action script you stipulate that as an effect to claim the sword the character receives a nickname. For simplicity sake I'll just pick apart the same code used by Dawn and simply swap in the dynasty I want it to work with. I'll start out working on the trait icon tonight (by far the most important part) then do the code during the weekend. In the mean time you can check out some of my work in the github link bellow. I'll be adding the new files for the sword there. github.com/Yarosara/before-the-conquestEdit:I present to you the Evening Star.

Wow! Good job man, the trait icon is stunning. I downloaded your mod and it's pretty good too. Looking forward to see our new addition to it!
(Also, great name for the sword)

It's still very experimental, but it has some cool icons I worked with (there also those cheat traits I added for those times you just don't want your excellent world conquering valyrian king to be either 60 years old or a drooling imbecile crippled lunatic).
If you spot bugs please do tell. I still need to throw a couple of things to the final package before I make a release out of it.

Well, not sure if it's a bug or something else but the character Baldo the Moon King doesn't have a nickname in game while playing but in the archives (changelog you made) it says that you added "Baldo the Moon King" when he actually doesn't have that nickname in the game and he isn't a king. But I don't know if you intended it to be this way or if it is a bug or something.
Also, I actually did what you said and I did try to put the "Knight of the Evening" in the AGOT_nickname file and added it in the 00_nicknames.loc and it actually worked the first time I tried to force the nickname using cheats on my character.
"nickname nick_the_knight_of_the_evening"
For some reason it worked the first time like I said (and using only your sub-mod) but after that when I was going to test it again with another character it didn't work. I was so happy that I managed to "create" my own nickname, lol.

Baldo is a character I play often as. He was the focus of my first mod that I kinda still have in an archive waiting for me to make it compatible with the current version of the game.
Of course I just kinda gave him a sword went on to work with Phara on the Summer Islands... And kind spent shy of an hundred hours playing with her as a bloodthirsty conqueror with a dragon. Woops!

Nothing to regret, Phara must kick ass so much with that formidable warrior trait hahaha. Baldo too.
