The requirements for this mod are the same as for RtP.
this is a Work in progress so bugs are expected.
current bugs that will be corrected eventually:
thanks to nosleeper.thier work on elderkings rtp.it set me on the path to working on this and honestly most of the work is theirs. thanks to the orginal rtp authors MightNight Maal Tzefira & Nendur.never knew about rtp before this.
updates will be on sundays when possible.
V1.00: - Built on RtP V5.8 & Rtp Elderkings Patch. - Removed Bombards from fort building.not lore friendly - integrated Rtp abilities into the existing Agot societies. - removed all mentions of technology. - removed slavery law.not required given slavery law exists in AGOT. - integrated governments into agot
V1.01 (bugfix): - Removed ambitions from rtp.
- unlocked the ability to "Abandon Titles" for anyone. - added an "Abandon Vows" option which allows one to play as kingsguard or nightswatch.

Hello. First of all, I would like to thank you for the initiative. I think a mod like this can be great in AGOT.
I have not played the mod before. Start like this:
-A Feast for Crows. -Custom character (lowborn) start in one of Stepstones. -Moving the character and proving this mod through Essos.
I've been playing this week and found a few bugs:
1. One man was a successor (and later took over) to Dosh Khaleen. I could see some strange things in the succession of another theocracy, Norvos, but it is only a perception. I think it should be reviewed.
2.The Volantis Triarchy exceeded the number of patrician families. This could literally be seen on the interface, with families "out of the picture" in the patrician section of "republic". They won the patricianship automatically as time passed. At first it seemed to work well.
These new families were also characters from the volantene culture. I could see this by graphically selecting one of these patricians with the saved lowborn game, where you could see the error. They could not run for the elections (only essosi valyrian) but it could happen in case of the death of the main triarch, like normal merchant republics.
3. One of these patrician families of volantene culture (I think the Selhorys owner) turned their government into one called "privateer". I don't know if this is exactly a bug.
I hope that my "testing" will help you. Thanks.
Pd: I apologize if my English is not correct. I am not a native speaker and I am using a translator.

I’ll look into the bugs you found and see what I can do..the third one sounds right to me though cause you can turn your government into a privateer.

Right. I read that the mod had that additional government type.
In addition, today I also remember certain things that seemed strange to me, although I don't know if they were bugs:
-When, in a game, the landless character died, the title passed to a random noble woman of other dinasty and the game did not end.
-After acquiring a holding and getting a county by winning the war from the lord of the province, despite converting to the feudal government, the landless title still existed.
-It seems that the mod adds for landless the decision "Overtake trade company" which allows to obtain the patricianship for money, regardless of the culture, for landless in a republic province.
-The game gave the option to buy a province from the dothrakis, who then became a tribal government.
Thanks!

Thanks for this, great mod. I was working on something similar a few months back, but ran into some issues. All characters wearing helmets, could only get it working with Westeros Only, other small issues. Anyway, I still need to do a few test runs on this but it seems far and away better than I could have hoped to do.
I play with Choose Your Character+ and I was annoyed when you use that modes' Landless option, you'd be lost on the map, unable to move to a new location. So I unlocked it by adding the ability to "Abandon Titles" for anyone, so these landless characters could get the emblem for being able to move again (they still start lost but will fix on the next day.
Another annoyance was switching to say, The Hound or Jon Snow, as the game would end in a few days because they're in the Kingsguard and Nights Watch respectively. So then I added an "Abandon Vows" option so they instantly drop their traits holding them back. Fixable by the cheat menu but it works for Iron Man games alright and you don't have to manually type it all in, click a button and it's done.
Both little fixes but basically allow you to play as... anyone in GOT. I could tidy up the code for it and release these additions if any would be interested or the author would be fine with that, or having it for a new version to look at. Certainly allows you to simulate The Hound flipping the bird to Joffrey and starting over as a mercenary looking to acquire as much poultry as possible.

What mods are you running ? And what’s the character your playing as? I'm using AGOT and Bloodlines only If you mean more bloodlines then that may be the reason given this mod is not compatible.also be aware that this mod has the same prerequisites as standard rise to power so it also has no other compatibility with other agot submods. As to answer a potential follow up question...As of now there aren’t any current plans for compatibility patches with other agot submods but your more than welcome to make one and share it with the community.

It is a pity because the mod has enormous potential.
