I know that dragons have a chance to grow each year in their martial stat and that certain traits affect that chance. However, I was playing and I got a child of destiny who subsequently hatched a dragon egg. The dragon's martial stat grew very quickly and was above its own age (7 years old, 10 martial stat, traits: obedient, playful, beautiful). Does the dragon's lord/friend's stats affect the dragon's chance to gain martial? Is there some underlying factor that affects dragon growth, was it because the lord was a child of destiny, or was it just pure luck?

Younger dragons usually (from my observations) have a higher martial stat than that of it's age. It's the opposite when it gets older.
