Is there a way to make it so you have to colonise individual provinces? Don't like being able to just colonise the full kingdom. What do you mean, exactly? You can only colonize provinces as it is - the lands should behave no differently than other ruins (other than the Mantarys effect in colonies). If colonizing goes to fast, make it more expensive in the game rules.

Nice to have this great submod updated! Thanks!
However, mine game is crashing with the submod when I start a new game in the loading after selecting the rules.
I am not using any other submods, with the 3.0.1.1 version. If anyone knows what can it be, would be glad to hear it!
Again, thanks for the mod!

With CK2 version 3.0.1.1 with checksum ONDO and just AGOT + this submod active, it should give you a checksum of IVYJ on the main menu screen.
If you see anything else, please verify your CK2 and AGOT mod files.

Technically it's a mapping issue, I (think I) properly drew the river on all map files, but I can't get it to look right at all zoom levels.
It might be that I'd need to edit the topology map file as well, but as that is yet another stupid format bmp file (I HATE working with indexed BMPs) I don't look forward to putting in the time and effort. Rivers and terrain were annoying enough.
Blame it on the Doom.
Oh god if it was much simpler (I.E. dealing with the texture file or the water, etc.) then I'd be happy to try and help you out with it but topology and bump mapping is a whole can of worms. I used to make maps like these out of layered bmp's and whatnot for a smaller game known as Battlezone II. Super fun to make maps for that game but the topology mapping was the worst part because you had to make sure it was seamless and not jaggy or buggy. No worries though, you barely notice the Qelbar unless you zoom in as far as I did

Sorry! I think I downloaded the wrong file, because now it is working without any crashes. One question though. Does do "Mantarys effect" still on while colonizing? After colonization does it go away? Thanks for the fast reply!

danshamal Once the province is no longer a colony the city of monsters effect goes away. It's mainly there to make the area not too attractive for free but if you can survive the difficult years, they basically become normal provinces.

I will wait until the colonization is done to make it a capital. Do not know if makes a difference. But again, thank you for your work and feedback

Hey erbkaiser, I believe your mod disables four counties in the Beyond the Wall part of the map, it might actually be more. I believe the AGOT mod authors updated the Beyond the Wall region with a few additional counties recently, so that may be the issue, or something else. However I can confirm that the counties are playable from the map view but are blacked out like a wasteland but they still have lords you can play, you just can't click on the county and build from it. I can also confirm it is your mod as I ran AGOT with just this mod and it produced the issue. Thanks!

Current Issue: Unable to colonize Howling Bogs, right clicking the shield doesn't offer the option as well as not allowing me to select the Scholarship, Theology, or Business focus.

dahoovmeister: is that with the new version? nitsuj83: You have some other mod conflict. It is impossible for this mod to change your available focuses.

I'll see if I can re-do my trade route mod later this week in which case the Valyria loop is returning. The week is over, where's the trade route mod ?

Hey erbkaiser, as Duryn also confirmed, we are having this issue on this version, there are currently six provinces Beyond the Wall that are blacked out on the map as if they were wastelands, even on the select a character overhead map. Strangely, you can still select these provinces and their respective lords from the overhead map to play, but once you get to the actual game, the provinces can't be selected and you can not build any holdings or buildings in them even though you can still play as them.

Thanks erbkaiser ! Also, not sure if you've noticed by the original post has dead links and mirrors to the old version of this mod.
