Fall of Sarnor is in 7974, the Red Death occurred sometime in 7975 for the first time. In the fall of Sarnor bookmark Gogossos has also already collapsed but the surrounding islands haven't. If the islands are left as is then Gogossos should also be present until the following year. In World of Ice and Fire the Red Death spread to all the other islands as well, the 10% of people left on the islands were murderers, criminals, and slaves, so 7975 is also effectively the birth of the Corsair pirates. So I propose one of the following three solutions.
Solution One - Islands are Collapsed
Gogossos stays collapsed but the islands are multicultural, including all slaver cultures, as they are in future bookmarks. Corsair's should be dominant as they are never mentioned anywhere in Martin's various books until after the Red Death in 7975
Solution Two - Islands Remain Free City
Gogossos is added back as a free city and as a major trade route and Valyrian culture still dominates the islands since the canon collapse isnt until the following year.
Solution Thee - Free City Collapses during the Fall of Sarnor bookmark
The first part of this is wishful thinking but the Red Death should not occur before 7975 (simple trigger?), and we don't have much information to indicate that it wasn't a one time catastrophe anyway. The Free City of Gogossos is present at the start of the bookmark in 7974 but collapses sometime in 7975 in an event, all culture on the islands is randomized to Essosi slaver cultures, all island religion is converted to corsair, all people presently on the islands contract red death. Gogossos becomes a ruin since the city was believed to be cursed from the torture and dark magic practiced there. The collapse of the 4th largest slave economy in world would be an event everyone hears about, at least in Essos.
As a side note, I noticed that in the Bleeding Years, War of Conquest, and Faith Militant Uprising bookmark the Valyrian culture is still present in the Basilisk Islands but this is a new change, this probably isn't consistent with canon lore, the people who were enslaved there were tortured and bred with beasts using dark magic by the dragon lords. If 90% of the population died out, I highly doubt very many were Valyrian and any that were were probably murdered, cause it was a penal colony after all.
