Hey
I wanna suggest that we chaange the Lannisport Lordship to a Merchant Republic with the Houses Lannister, Lannett, Lantell and Lanny as the Merchant Noble Families. I think it would befit more the Situation that is actually happeniing in Lannisport. Cities or Towns always or usually sprout around or near Castles and I always thought that the Castle, Lannisport sproutet near was Casterly Rock, not a Castle on it's own.

I believe that the City was founded by a branch of the Lannister Family as a separate holding from Casterly Rock, not as a natural formation, say like King's Landing or even the Wintertown around Winterfell. Also I don't think the Lannisters, Lannetts, Lantells, or Lannys neccessarily act as merchants in the city. That seems to be looked down upon heavily be the Noble Houses still, as evidenced by the Gulltown Arryns.

Also two issues there'd be is that for a merchant republic they need to be a High Lordship, normal counties can only be standard republics without elections etc, also if the branch of House Lannister was holding it and then came into possession of Casterly Rock, or if (and I'm not fully sure how the inheritance of family palaces works) but if the Casterly Rock branch inherited the family palace then Casterly Rock would stop being feudal and become a republic
