Could we please get the Windows installer hosted on a site OTHER than Mediafire??!
I just downloaded the mod (to re-install it to fix the Steam blacked-out provinces bug: why does that still exist, by the way?) and my antivirus caught Meadiafire trying to install a Trojan on my computer when I clicked the CORRECT download link (and there are plenty of spoof links on Mediafire too, getting you to install virus-filled "install managers" and such...)
Mediafire is grey-web, virus-filled trash. Please find somewhere more reputable to host this superb, highly-regarded mod's Windows installer!

Due to the buggy nature of the steam version I have removed it form the workshop. Any future releases will be via direct download only.

Question: has anyone *tried* to fix the Steam version. Or are you just deleting the Workshop version rather than attempting to solve a known problem with that version??

Mediafire is better than most others lol, what's the alternative? Mega? Dropbox? The problems with that version are entirely localised within that version because Steam is a bitch when it comes to worksop mods, it breaks everything, why should they have to change the fundamental coding of the mod which at that point would lead them with two entirely seperate versions they would have to perioidcially maintain? Their dev team is incredibly small these days, with most effort going towards the next version of the mod or a mod for the upcoming CK3.

Hey! Is there a 3.2 compatible version? CK2 runs better in my PC on 32 bits.

The CK2 steam workshop uploader has never worked well for large mods. Often I have had to attempt to upload it to steam several times, usually taking several hours. And sometimes it ends up being buggy for no apparent reason anyway, like this version. That said, I will try an adding a second mirror for the next version.

As I can understand there will be no more patches for Crusader Kings II from Paradox, because CK team concentrate all their efforts on new game in the series : Crusader Kings III. Does it mean that there will be no new versions of Crusader Kings II A Game of Thrones mod?
I've come to terms with the fact that "The Winds of Winter" book will never came out and author would probably die before he finishes it, so for me as the fan of ASOIaF, the "AGoT" mod become the next best thing. So, if AGoT is also over, I should probably resign and lower myself to fanfiction. What a shame.

With the mod being feature complete and future updates mostly just being bugfixes from what I understand, might it be worth looking into an SVN repository for uploading those bugfixes and letting people get them as they're ready?
Not sure how much work that would be to set up, just a thought.
