This is a submod which gives provinces in the world regions of Beyond the Wall, The Wall, and the North different countereffect modifiers, depending on the owner of a province, to the winter province modifiers in times of winter. Provinces held by the White Walkers, or is a winter wasteland, will receive modifiers which fully counter the winter province modifiers. Provinces not held by either the White Walkers, or is a winter wasteland, and is also located in the three world regions will receive a different modifier that is half as effective as the one the White Walkers receive. In addition, White Walkers will receive a trait which grants them +4 to Winter Supply and a 20% combat bonus in winter. Other characters who's capital is located in either of the three mentioned world regions will receive a trait which grants them +2 to winter supply and a 10% winter combat bonus, as long as they are an adult and have a martial stat of at least 8. This, to me, simulates the idea that the White Walkers are not affected by winter and the characters who live in the north are better prepared to deal with winter and can lead armies in winter better than those who live in the south, as long as they have a decent enough knowledge to do so.
Compatible with: AGOT 2.0/2.1/2.2

Would it be possible to combine this with the mod that turns White Walker territory into ruin if the War for the Dawn is won?

Would it be possible to combine this with the mod that turns White Walker territory into ruin if the War for the Dawn is won? I'm guessing you mean the submod Winter's Ruin? If so, I don't see why this submod wouldn't work with that one. Once winter ends, any province modifiers added to any province from this submod will eventually be removed; just as the winter modifiers are in the main mod from the seasons_events.txt file.

Yeah, that one. But I meant combining the submods so that they are one mod?

Yeah, that one. But I meant combining the submods so that they are one mod? I won't do that for the official download, since the two mods should work alongside each other anyway and not everyone would want that feature included. Also it's another modder's mod. If you'd like though, I could combine them for you for personal use.

Yeah, having it for personal use would be pretty cool so just send it over whenever you have a minute.

Can it be included in an ongoing run where winter hasn't started and WWs haven't invaded yet?

Can it be included in an ongoing run where winter hasn't started and WWs haven't invaded yet? If you're wondering if it's save-game compatible, it is not. This submod adds new traits, so adding it to a game already in progress will mess up traits on characters because of how traits are stored in saves.

Submod should work for either AGOT 2.0 or AGOT 2.1. I changed the name of the submod by adding AGOT to the beginning of it for mod list purposes.

Just wanted to let you know I absolutely love your mods. Was playing this on the feast for crows book mark and wanted to let you know that my dragon got the winter soldier trait. Not really a big deal but figured I'd let you know if that wasn't WAD.

Not really a big deal but figured I'd let you know if that wasn't WAD. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I hadn't excluded dragons in the trigger for the event. The link has been updated with the fix.
