Sorry to bother anyone, but my face modifications are super blurry, like they are varying degrees of fuzzy unless you have actively clicked on the person, wondering if anyone had the same experience and how I can fix it.

So this is my copy of the mod. I have no idea if I edited it in any way. There was a reachman fix which is already in it that I know of. It has been some time so no idea if I changed a couple of things to suit my preferences. AGOT Faces Modification: MegaAGOT Faces Modification + MB + CO: MegaAGOT Faces Modification + MB Strong Seed: MegaAll three on workupload.com in case Mega doesn't work for you. Obviously if you don't use MB (More Bloodlines) or CO (Congenital Overhaul) don't use the 2nd and 3rd link. All work with AGOT 2.2 What's the difference between this and jonothor's Faces Modifications + MB + CO? Also, can the Strong Seed mod not be used with the 2nd file? |

There is probably no difference.
It has been far too long since I downloaded these versions to know who made them.
This has mostly to do with how this thread is organised, or the lack of it.
I've never claimed authorship and in any way just offer another way to download them.
Regarding your second question: Yes I think so.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but to get this mod to work with More Bloodlines and AGOT 2.2 I need the original made by melius, the compatibility patch made by Pavelo (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2157291666), and the compatibility patch by Pavelo for More Bloodlines? (https://www.moddb.com/mods/pavelos-patches-for-melius-agot-submod-faces-modification/downloads/agot-faces-modification-more-bloodlines-new)
Or do I just need melius' original mod and the compatibility patch for More Bloodlines?

Sadly does not work. I tried with Tyon's version but every male in the Stormlands, Vale, Westerlands, Riverlands, Crownlands and Reach are naked, I got strange reddish things on the right side of every single portrait in the whole world (not circles, more like a floating piece of something) and the special crowns are all over the place: not centered on the characters' heads + some use the wrong one, for exemple kings of the Storm have the Rock crown, which might be linked to the center issue but I don't know how to fix it. The default cultural crowns seem to work fine though.

Hello, I recently downloaded this submod, and as a few others have recently mentioned, there seems to be an issue. The headwear/crowns of various characters are off centered, while some are simply wearing different/incorrect crowns all together. Many character's have crowns outside the boundaries of their portraits that are in no way related to them, much to my confusion. Ah yes, the reddish things I'm observing are indeed Aegon IV's crown, seemed red because it's the less lighted part. Every single adult character (who doesn't have another misplaced crown) has it.
And I also see your Argilac and Mern IX are naked too.

And I also see your Argilac and Mern IX are naked too. It's such a Bizarre glitch, though I've seen this with other mods that I've used. In some versions of EK that I ran, the glow of a Draugr's eyes would be displaced off to the side. It seems a common glitch when there's a problem with how the portraits load. I'm hoping it's fixed for this mod soon. |

Could be a wrong value in the number of sprites contained in the crowns file. I know for the dynasty flags, if you have for exemple two rows of flags in your pic file but indicate only three in your text file, the game will divide the pic into three rows anyway and you'll end up with off-centered flags because of that. But so far I haven't see anything like that in the mod files. Actually, I don't even know if the game loads the portrait assets in the same way.
EDIT : Just noticed that Betha Blackwood (Egg's wife) is bald for some reason.

I've loaded your version of the mod and 99% works great though i noticed the summer islander portraits are south indian portraits, not the African ones used in the example photos at the start of the thread. Was that a change you made or is it a bug? So! I got it to work. The problem was that I was inadvertently using Tyon's More Bloodlines patch on the mod version of the opening post instead of the version in Tyon's post. Or at least I think so, because I thought I was using both of Tyon's files already but I just redownloaded Tyon's base mod and Tyon's MB patch versions and it now works fine. So try the same thing, thadfyre. The Blackwood bug also seems not to be an issue with this mod. I checked and it happens with Betha Blackwood, wife of Aegon V, and Alyssa Blackwood, wife of Arlan III Durrandon, and only after their respective deaths. They also dont wear any crown in life. So I think it's a problem with whichever submod added the blackwood ethnicity (More Bloodlines, I think), where they can't wear crown when they are consort queen and alive and where crowns happen to delete the whole hair layer when worn after death. Does someone know how to fix that? |
